Fahrenheit 451

I mean it’s Fahrenheit 451, what do you want me to tell you? Of course it’s good. I know most people had to read this for school, I never did. So this is my first time reading it.

I don’t think there’s much I can say that hasn’t been said. It’s shorter than I thought, and the 60th anniversary edition has about another books-worth of extra content, like interviews, reviews, and histories. Bradbury does a great job of getting in and getting out of the story without telling too much or too little. He gets the characters across cleanly and the problems are obvious. Even the most novice reader can pick up on the themes here.

It’s Fahrenheit 451! A modern classic! Just read it, jeez.
